2.   VentromedialgroupÞ支配Plastysmam.、Stapediusm.。

3.   IntermediategroupÞ支配Orbicularisoculim.、Uppermimeticfacialm.(Frontalis、Corrugatorsupercilli、Zygomaticusm.)。

4.   LateralgroupÞ支配Buccinatorm.、Buccolabialm.。

5.   OthergroupÞ支配Stylohyoidm.、Posteriorbellyofthedigastricm.。

 @  NucleiorGanglionRelatedwiththeIntermediateNerve(Intermediatenerve=Sensoryroot:Parasympatheticrootsofthefacialnerve，位於Facialmotorroot與Vestibularnerve之間)1.   SuperiorsalivarynucleusandLacrimalnucleusÞ由位在Facialmotornucleus內側的混合小細胞(GVEneurons)所組成。

(1) SuperiorsalivarynucleusÞintermediatenerveÞBypassthegeniculateganglionÞChordatympanibranchofthefacialnerve:LingualbranchofthemandibulardivisionofthetrigeminalnerveÞSynapseinthesubmandibularganglionÞSecretoryandvasomotor(Postganglionic)fibersÞSubmandibularandsublingualglands:Mucousmembraneandvesselsofthemouthandpharynx(2) LacrimalnucleusÞintermediatenerveÞBypassthegeniculateganglionÞGreaterpetrosalnerveÞSynapseinthepterygopalatineganglionÞSecretoryandvasomotor(Postganglionic)fibersvialacrimalbranchoftheophthalamicdivisionofthetrigeminalnerveÞLacrimalgland:Mucosaandvesselsofthenasalcavity2.   Geniculateganglion(膝狀神經節)Þ位於Externalgenuofthefacialnerve。
