Adele Webb is adjunct Lecturer at Heidelberg University’s Institute of Political Science. She received her PhD from the University of Sydney in 2019. Her research focuses on democratic theory and its application to political histories and contemporary political dynamics in Asia, and has been published in recent books including A Duterte Reader (Cornell University Press, 2017) and Populism Around the World (Springer, 2019).
